Description
To understand the needs of special population in substance use treatment of justice involved individuals whether they are incarcerated, in treatment court or on probation and parole and how to best position individual for best outcomes of care.

William R. Morrone, DO, MS, MPH, FACOFP, DABAM, DAAPM

William R. Morrone, DO, MS, MPH, FACOFP, DABAM, DAAPM currently works as the Chief Medical Examiner in Bay County, Medical Director at Recovery Pathways, LLC., and as an addictionologist in the criminal justice system through the 14th and 35th Circuit Drug Courts.
 
Dr. Morrone is a graduate of Michigan State University (MSUCOM) completing an internship in internal medicine and residency in family medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Family Practitioners, certified by National Board of Physicians and Surgeons and is past president of American Osteopathic Academy of  Addiction Medicine. He also is a part of the Physician’s Clinical Support System (PCSS-MOUD) for office-based opioid treatment and currently lectures nationally on this topic. He has worked in addiction medicine as a treating physician with ten years of experience in focus areas of criminal justice, forensic medicine and public advocacy.
 
He also holds Master’s of Science degree in pharmaceutical science and toxicology and a Master’s of Public Health.
