This webinar will discuss challenges of illicit fentanyl consumption. The data presented will discuss a recent operational definition of precipitated opioid withdrawal, drawn from an empirical study, and will introduce how the unique absorption, distribution, metabolization, and excretion of fentanyl may be contributing to fentanyl's unique profile of effects in patients.

At the conclusion of the seminar learners will be able to:

Understand how fentanyl may be interacting in unique ways with buprenorphine
