This presentation will cover the basic elements of the medical complications of substance use disorders. The presentation will dwell on the more common consequences of those disorders which have the greatest health impacts.
Learning Objectives
  1. Attendees will learn about the basic medical consequences of substance use disorders. 
  2. Attendees will learn about some common physical presentations associated with substance use disorders. 
  3. Attendees will learn about the organ systems affected by alcohol use disorders. 
  4. Attendees will learn about organ systems affected by tobacco use disorders and other substance use disorders.
