Description
This course discusses the preoperative, day-of-surgery, and postoperative management of patients with opioid use disorder (OUD), with a focus on addressing individualized treatment plans based on each patient's current medications.
Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this seminar, attendees should be able to:

  1. Recognize the challenges for pain management in patients with OUD and the proper way to administer pain relief and prevent discomfort form withdrawal symptoms.
